Still essential reading. My only quibble: if better schools are better because they have more money (which is totally true) and have invested in teacher training and retention, then why not embrace vouchers? Clearly this society isn’t going to equalize or collectivize educational funding, so why not embrace choice? Fuck privatization and for profit education, fuck models of high stakes...
